In July Robin was invited to visit the Loro Piana and Fratelli Tallia di Delfino mills in Biella, Italy.
Day one of the trip was hosted by Fratelli Tallia di Delfino Sales Director Umberto Paccotto, who led a tour of the factory showcasing how the fabrics are made whilst presenting the mills history. Robin met with various members of the production team including Giovanni Tallia part of the original family that founded the mill 120 years ago. Robin previewed the new collection which we look forward to rolling out to BTI clients later this year.
Day two was a visit to LVMH owned Loro Piana, starting with a visit to the spinning lab followed by the weaving and finishing plant before visiting the factory showrooms.
Aside from eating very well, the trip was a great way to promote BTI's name to industry professionals and to learn more about two mills that BTI's clients use on a day to day basis.
Thanks to Loro Piana and Fratelli Tallia di Delfino for a great trip!
